Ham Radio

Recently, I've mainly been focused on mesh networking with the AREDN project. I designed and maintain the site at https://www.soazmesh.xyz/

I'm an active member of OVARC, the Oro Valley Amateur Radio Club. We are a very involved club, and we host all kinds of events throughout the year. For example, we run Field Day at the Oro Valley Emergency Operations Center every year.

I'm a general now! I took the test and upgraded on May 7, 2016.

My main rig is a Yaesu FT-5100 I got from a radio-tradio net. I also have an iCom IC-92ad handheld, which does D-STAR. Other than that I have a few Baofeng HTs.

If you want to talk on the radio, I'll often be listening on the OVARC repeater network. Practically anywhere in Tucson, you can hit 146.620 (-) with PL156.7. It's also on Echolink node 99946.
